Important warning items for safe operation (UL-spec. and CSA-spec. machines) 8 Chapter 1 QS07 [If the product is used in a nominal rating up to 120V] This product is for use on a nominal 120V circuit, and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch A in Figure-1. A temporary adaptor, which looks like the adaptor illustrated in sketches B and C, may be used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in sketch B if a properly grounded outlet is not available. The temporary adaptor should be used only until a properly grounded outlet can be installed by a qualified electrician. The green colored rigid ear, lug, and the like, extending from the adaptor must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the adaptor is used, it must be held in place by the metal screw. [If the product is used in a nominal rating more than 120V] This product is for use on a circuit having a nominal rating more than 120V, and is factory equipped with a specific electric cord and plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch D in Figure-1. No adapter should be used with this product. If the product must be reconnected for use on a different type of electric circuit, the reconnection should be made by qualified service personnel; and after the reconnection, the product should comply with all local codes and ordinances.
