19 Chapter 2 Getting Ready to Embroider 2 The following illustration shows the places through which the upper threads for each needle should be passed. Carefully thread each upper thread, making sure that its path is correct at each position. The numbers that appear in the illustration below correspond to the needle numbers. 1. Place the spools of thread on the thread stand. 2.
