32 Chapter 3 How to Perform Embroidery 3 Here's how to set the orientation of the design and the embroidery start point. 1. Select the orientation of the design. • To leave it in the original position: • To rotate it 90° clockwise: • To rotate it 90° counterclockwise: • To rotate it 180°: The preview of the design display and the tulip rotate to reflect the direction of rotation angle that was selected. 2. Tap the position for starting the embroidery from among the 9 points indicated in the design preview. The specified position is displayed in red. 3. Tap . The Frame Position Setting screen is displayed. 3.2.3 Setting the orientation of the design and the start point When embroidering a cap (as a finished product) using cap frame, select (180°). This is because, when using a cap, it is mounted upside down on the machine. When you are using a design that has already been rotated, there's no need to change the orientation of the design. You should try to select a place for the start position that allows for easy alignment of the frame.
