98 Chapter 8 Appendix 8 The following explains the measures you should take when an error message is displayed, when you are unable to achieve the intended sewing results, or when other problems are encountered. 8.3.1 What to do when an error message is displayed When the machine is operated incorrectly, or an abnormality occurs, the machine stops, and a message screen is displayed on the operation panel. After checking the message and code that is displayed in the message screen, take the appropriate measures. To dismiss the message screen, tap [RESET] in the message screen. When a green message screen is displayed This does not mean the machine stopped due to an abnormality or malfunction. Embroidery can be continued. 8.3 Troubleshooting In some cases, depending on the type of error, the screen will not go away even if you tap [RESET] on the message screen. In such cases, turn off the machine's power, then turn it back on.
