Turn on the machine and load the film according to below diagram:
Once the printer has printed enough transfers to cover the front preheang
board and the media extends to the first of two vacuum cylinders, ensure that
the PET transfer media is aligned squarely from the printer through the
shaker to avoid any material skewing.
When the media is placed correctly to the first vacuum cylinder, the shaker
sucon system should be in the on
posion. From this point the media will
now be controlled by both the vacuum and mesh belt system through the
heang tunnel. It is important that when placing the media under the powder
hopper for the first me that enough slack is provided to allow powder to fill
at the boom and then be shaken off as the media moves back up through
the belt system.
Aer finishing a print job, cut the last part of PET media and enter the print
linkage
mode. The film will then be automacally wound by the take-up to
complete the prinng process.
At the end of the day, transfer any remaining powder from the machine to a clean bin
with an airght lid. Powder le in the hopper can regain moisture and create some maintenance
issues.
