In the workspace, the new border will appear on the selected text object. 7) To change the color of the border stitches, select that color in the Colors field of the Start tab, and select the desired color from the thread color dialog. For more information, see "Color Change." Drop Shadow Drop shadow adds a shadow shape to a text object, which gives it an illusion of depth. To add a drop shadow: 1) Select the Text object that you want to add a drop shadow effect to. 2) On the Start tab, click the Advanced button. You see the Advanced Text Settings dialog. 3) Click the Drop Shadow checkbox to activate it. 4) Click Apply to generate the drop shadow stitches. In the workspace, the drop shadow will appear on the selected text object. The drop shadow stitches will be enclosed in an orange frame, separate from the text frame; this frame can be moved independently of the text frame.
