Align Tools
The Align Tools can be used to align different objects in the workspace
relative to one another; for example, if you want to make sure that a
different lines of text are exactly centered relative to each other.
To align objects in the design:
1) Select all the objects you want to align.
2) Click on one of the following tools:
The objects will be re-aligned in the workspace accordingly.
Center: The selected object, or group of objects (if more than
one is selected) are moved so that it is centered in the frame.
Note that, if a group
is centered, they retain the original positions
relative to each other.
Horizontal Center: All selected objects are moved so that they
are centered left-to-right with respect to each other, but are not
moved up or down.
Vertical Center: All selected objects are moved so that they are
centered top-to-bottom with respect to each other, but are not
moved left or right.
Align Left: Aligns all selected objects with the left-most item
selected.
Align Right: Aligns all selected objects with the right-most item
selected.
Align Top: Aligns all selected objects with the top-most item
selected.
Align Bottom: Aligns all selected objects with the bottom-most
item selected.
