Working with Thread Colors
Changing Colors on the List Tab
You can use the Thread Change tool on the List tab to change
individual colors in a design or lettering. A number of manufacturers'
thread charts come loaded with the Autograph Writer software. You
can select the chart you want to use, and then the color you want, by
way of the Threads Gallery dialog.
To change the thread color of a text or design segment:
1) In the properties panel, select the List Tab.
2) On the List tab, click on the text item or design segment to select it.
When selected, the segment will be enclosed within a dark outline.
3) From the List tab tools, select Thread Change .
The Threads Gallery will open in a new window.
4) In the Threads Gallery, select a thread chart from the palettes field.
The colors in the Thread Gallery display will change appropriately.
5) Click on a color (to select it) and then click the Select button.
The color of the selected object will change to match your selection.
