Output Tools and Settings 79 3 If there are multiple machines on your spooler, select the one you want to send the design to by clicking the checkbox next to the machine name. 4 Click the Send button. The design will be sent to the Design Queue; you will see the Output Results dialog, which shows the design's output status. Configuring the Design List Folder A simple way to output multiple designs to the Design Queue is to configure a designated folder specifically intended for output files (sometimes referred to as the "hot" folder). Such a folder will be monitored by the design spooler, which will automatically "pull" all designs that are saved in it and places them in the Design Queue. To enable the Design List Folder: 1 Click the Settings button to open the settings dialog. 2 Select the Machine page. 3 Check the Design List from Folder box. The Design Location field becomes editable. 4 By default, the location of the Design List Folder will be: Users\Public\Documents\ Designs for Barcoding. To change the directory, do the following: If your machine has a bar code reader, you can check Bar Code Support at the bottom of the dialog; this will make all file names that are output readable by bar code scanners. If there is only one machine available on your design spooler, the design will be sent directly that machine's design queue. Therefore, the Output to Machine dialog will not appear, and you will not have to preform steps 3 and 4.
