The operator can select specific preset stitch types such as straight or zigzag before the operation begins. Other preset specifications such as stitch pitch (length), width and over-sew and the stitch margin relative to the edge of the emblem can be preset. The operation of VSS is as simple as loading the garment with the emblem, pressing the foot pedal to take the photo of the emblem/garment to create the stitch pattern, and then pressing the start pedal allowing the system to sew the emblem to the garment and then off-loading the finished workpiece. HOW DOES THE VISION SEWING SYSTEM WORK? Operating VSS is simple. Operators of any skill level can load the material and the emblem(s) into the work clamp of the machine. The integrated digital camera quickly and automatically takes a photo of the emblem or garment. The system then analyzes the image and defines the perimeter of the emblem. Using preset stitch specifications, the system then automatically generates a stitch pattern for that specific emblem and proceeds to sew the emblem to the work piece or garment.
