Once you get the opportunity to make a sales presentation, don't just rush in to offer your services, do some additional planning, and put together a package tailored to the client. Some companies know exactly what they want, but many more just have a rough idea and need a little bit of help. You must be ready to offer advice and product information. A. DEVELOP A LIST OF SPECIFIC PRODUCT IDEAS Taking into account what the Company is all about, create a list of ideas for apparel. By showing your customer a wide range of items, you may be able to increase your sales potential, simply by exposing them to new concepts. But don't limit yourself to clothing. If the client is a manufacturer, take a look at what they make. You may be able to offer embroidery services to enhance or identify their products, especially if they produce soft goods. And remember, this may be your only chance to reach this client, so make it worthwhile for both of you.
