9 Important Safety Instructions If the machine is dropped, damaged, or fails to function properly Immediately stop use of the machine and contact your sales dealer. When air conditioning devices are used Take care so as not to allow the airflow from an air conditioning device to directly strike the machine. This will help prevent irregularities in the embroidery threads. When moving the machine When moving the machine, make sure to enlist the help of at least other persons, and grasp it at the specified locations on the bottom. Move it carefully while paying attention to the surroundings. When installing the machine Place the machine on a flat, level table or other stable surface before using it. Make sure to allow sufficient space, at least 20 cm, at the right and left sides of the machine, and between it and any walls or other obstructions, so the movement of the frame is not blocked. Observation and supervision required in the following cases A supervisor should be on hand to provide guidance when the machine is to be used by persons with disabilities, persons who lack the knowledge and experience to operate a machine properly, or children. Also, children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the machine. If using USB memory (USB flash drives), due care should be taken if children are present in order to prevent ingestion. Use fingers or stylus for operation panel Operations using the operation panel can be performed using fingers or the supplied stylus. Maintenance for the machine is important Be sure to oil the specified places and perform the necessary cleaning at the specified intervals.
