60 Chapter 4 Getting the Most Out of the Machine 4 When the machine is stopped, movement of the frame, needle bar changes, and thread trimming can be performed manually. 4.10.1 Moving the frame manually The frame can be moved to any position you want. When the frame can be moved manually, is displayed on the screen. 1. Tap . (Example: In the case of the Home screen) The frame travel keys are displayed. 2. Press and hold the relevant arrow icon of the frame travel keys to move the frame to the position you want. The frame stops when you release your finger from the arrow icon. 3. Tap to return to the Home screen. 4.10 Manual operation Caution If the frame is brought out while thread is still attached to the fabric, the thread could go slack. And, in such cases, when the embroidery is restarted, the slack in the thread could stick out from the fabric. Please trim the thread manually beforehand to prevent this. "4.10.3 Trimming the thread manually" Keep hands away from the area surrounding the frame. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury due to the movement of the frame.
