Chapter 3 Settings 3-6 Automatic nozzle checking (Cleaning Check) after auto cleaning can also be set. 1 With the screen in local mode, select [MENU] > [SETUP], and then press the [ENTER] key. • SETUP options are displayed. 2 Select a SETUP option from 1 to 4 and press the [ENTER] key. • The SETUP menu is displayed. 3 Select [AUTO CLEANING] and press the [ENTER] key. 4 Select a setting value and press the [ENTER] key. • Setting value: FILE / LENGTH / TIME / OFF 5 Select a setting value and press the [ENTER] key. • Setting values vary depending on your selection in the previous step. • For FILE: 1–1000 files • For LENGTH: 0.1–100.0 m (in 0.1 m increments) • For TIME: 10–480 min. (in 10 min. increments) 6 Select [TYPE] and press the [ENTER] key. • Select the type of cleaning and press the [ENTER] key. • Setting value: NORMAL / SOFT / HARD 7 Select [Cleaning Check] and press the [ENTER] key. 8 Select a setting value and press the [ENTER] key. • Setting value: ON / OFF Interval wiping After the specified amount of time has elapsed, the head nozzle surface is automatically cleaned to remove ink droplets adhering to the nozzle surface.
