Chapter 5 Troubleshooting 5-8 A position control error occurred. • Temporarily turn off the main power supply, and then turn it on again. If the message appears again, contact your dealer, or our sales office or call center. Y-origin could not be detected. Linear scale error. Ink end (cannot be used for printing, only when cleaning with the 4-color ink set) • Replace with new ink. The ink IC chip of the ink cartridge can- not be read correctly. • Make sure that the cartridge is inserted cor- rectly. • Reinsert the cartridge. • Temporarily turn off the main power supply, and then turn it on again. If the message appears again, contact your dealer, or our sales office or call center. Remaining cartridge volume is less than 60 ml when using 600 ml cartridges. • Enter the cartridge weight. Remaining cartridge volume is less than 25 ml when using 600 ml cartridges. Failed to write to the ink IC chip during weight input when using 600 ml car- tridges. • Make sure that the cartridge is inserted cor- rectly. • Reinsert the cartridge. • Temporarily turn off the main power supply, and then turn it on again. If the message appears again, contact your dealer, or our sales office or call center. A certain amount of time has passed since a cartridge was removed from a slot. • Load cartridges. An error occurred with the ink IC chip information for the ink cartridge. Amount used exceeds the stipulated value. • Make sure there is no nozzle clogging. Thermistor connection error. • Temporarily turn off the main power supply, and then turn it on again. If the message appears again, contact your dealer, or our sales office or call center. Heater temperature error detected. If the temperature issue is not resolved after this error occurs, the machine is forced to shut down. An error has prevented the function from being performed. • Return to the local screen, check the error status, and respond appropriately.
